Why has the Infosys CEO been summoned by the Finance Ministry over tax filing issues?

Ministry of Finance has summoned Salil Parekh, the CEO of Infosys, after tax filers complained of continued glitches in the tax portal. These glitches have been brought to light nearly 75 days back but have not been rectified. The tax portal is currently under emergency maintenance. Government has spent Rs. 4,242 crore on the tax portal revamp, and clearly wants tax filing to move faster.
