The NSE has already invited applications for the post of MD and CEO with Vikram Limaye’s 5 year tenure coming to an end in July this year. While he is eligible for another term, The exchange just wants to be doubly sure that the appointment process is adhered to. Korn Ferry will be the head hunting agency for the job.
Limaye had taken over when NSE was going through a period of uncertainty following the resignation of Chitra Ramkrishna. The new CEO will have the dual task of getting over the ghost of the algo scam and also to get back to its growth ways.
