The impact is surely visible in the market correction. The markets would have ideally liked to see the NDA doing well in the Jharkhand election. Jharkhand may be a small state but it is surely an important state after the ruling NDA lost the important states of Rajasthan, MP and Chhattisgarh in the Hindi Belt last year.
While final results are awaited, the initial counts show that the ruling BJP is trailing in the state. That has surely impacted the sentiments in the markets.
